Our ears are so sharp, they can even listen to things after death. “First hunger and then thirst are lost. Speech is lost next, followed by the vision. The last senses to go are usually hearing and touch,” writes Hallenbeck in Palliative Care Perspectives, a guide to palliative care for physicians. Unfortunately, one cannot make anything of the sounds after they die.
