Turritopsis dohrnii commonly known as the immortal jellyfish lives up to its name. It is a small aquatic creature found in the Mediterranean sea and Japan. It has a special ability which allows it to reverse its development back to the polyp stage at any moment in their lives. But it is not the only known immortal being on this planet. There is also the Planaria worm has fascinated scientists with the similar ability of regeneration that keeps them from dying and scientists hope that these creatures can unlock the long-chased immortality.
