Google or its parent company has a lot of quirky affairs in which they have invested their capital. Calico, a Google-funded company launched in 2013 aims at solving the mystery of death and to find a loophole through which humans can escape it. Their official statement was “focus on health and well-being, in particular, the challenge of aging and associated diseases,” but TIME Magazine’s cover story titled “Can Google Solve Death?” spilled it all.
